Growing up in Tahoe since the age of 6 I watched many guys including myself at times struggling with finding women to date in Tahoe. With a ratio of about 4 guys to every girl it is pretty tough to find a girl that tickles your fancy.
I sometimes thought that all women in Tahoe were lesbians. Mountain women that were out to get the guys that just want to have a good time in Tahoe. But every once in a while I would get hit by one of those god damn love darts by the little cupid MOFO sitting off of the big branch of a pine tree. You never know maybe I could have just been hit in the head with a very dense pine cone and was suffering from a severe concussion.
Us guys in Tahoe are here for a reason. We either love the outdoors, the skiing, snowboarding, hiking in the winter or the beautiful lake, wakeboarding, boating, kayaking in the summer. But its a proven fact that sex will give you a longer, healthier life.
SO HOW DO GUYS IN TAHOE GO ABOUT GETTING SOME LOVIN?
Here are some rules that I have come up with when it comes to dating TAHOE GIRLS
Rule # 1
Never admit that you are horrible at snowboarding or skiing. Most of the women in Tahoe are what I like to call PRO HOS. They thrive on hooking up with the guys that like to shred the gnar. If you say you suck at riding. You might as well stay at home, Pop in your favorite girls gone wild. Dim the lights, Light some candles and get romantic with good on HAndgela.
Rule # 2- The flake 2 time rule
Girls in Tahoe are flakes. They want what they can't have and if you don't play hard to get you are screwing yourself over. It must be the altitude that makes them lack maturity. So here is what you do. If you manage to get a girls number in Tahoe. Make plans with her. But then when she calls you say something came up. Then make a plan for a following day. If they are playing cool then go ahead and go on a date with them. The next time they call flake on them again. If they come back for more after that then you might just have a keeper.
Rule # 3- Your the man rule
Do not act desperate. Most guys in Tahoe are but you have to put on an act. If you go out with your buddies act like the girl you are going for does not even exist. She will be wondering why you are ignoring her and will be thinking about you all night. Make them want you.
Rule # 4 Losing a Tahoe Girlfriend
If you find your girlfriend cheating on you don't worry. Move on. In Tahoe you don't lose your girlfriend. You lose your turn. So just wait for your turn again and move on to the next mountain girl that catches your eye.
Places to find a girl in Tahoe
There are several clubs in South Lake Tahoe,
Monte Blu has the opal lounge and Blue. There is cabo wabo, and vex also. If you are into the clubing scene these are the spots to hit up. Thursdays are $1 drinks at Opal Lounge and then vex is the spot to go on Saturdays.
Other popular spots include the beacon at camp rich on wednesdays, and then steamers and whiskey dicks are also popular spots.
